Lisa Eldridge Fantasy Floral Lip Kit In Velvet Beauty And Velvet Blush Lipstick

I love everything about Lisa Eldridge, the way she looks, her style and her work, her YouTube makeup tutorials and the fact that she is never involved in any kind of drama. She is always really friendly, really lovely and she seem to be a genuine kind person and a very talented makeup artist

I admire her work for so long and she has been an amazing inspiration to me over the years and I wanted to try her Velvet Lipstick since last year it was sold out in a matter of days. This year Lisa came with gorgeous new lip products and an amazing collaboration with Jon Jacobsen, a multimedia artist, amazing photographer and digital illustrator. 

When I saw the Fantasy Floral makeup bag designed by Jon Jacobsen I was already in love and there was no way back for me and I wanted the lipsticks even more. I would dream of these lipsticks at night!

My boyfriend saw my torment and decided to gift me my first Lisa Eldridge lipsticks! 

I was deeply drawn by the lip kit in Velvet Beauty, a vibrant rose- pink with blue undertones, very feminine and romantic. 

This lip kit has a gorgeous lip gloss, an amazing lip pencil and a true velvet lipstick. 

 

The Gloss Embrace Lip Gloss in Beauty is vegan and silicon free. This lip gloss is a smooth non-sticky veil of color enriched with nourishing oils and butters for a luxurious feeling. Not just a lip gloss in a pretty rose -pink colour but also an instant restoring treatment, cocooning your lips with emollient hydrators and leaving them soft and beautiful. Key ingredients for this stunning lip gloss are: wild mango kernel butter, accai berry oil, sunflower seed oil, vit A, C, D, E.

Enhance and Define Lip Pencil in Beauty has an incredible gel formula that not only glides to perfection to my lips but it's last on very long and looks great even on dry lips. Once set the lip liner becomes smudge free and waterproof. I have quite some lip liners with a gel formula but nothing like this, not even close. I hope Lisa will come up with single buy lip pencils next year, I definitely need more of these lip liners. You can not buy this lip liner as a single item (at the moment).

" Beauty" lip liner is in the same tone as the lip gloss and the velvet lipstick but a touch deeper in intensity for added definition.

True Velvet Lipstick in Beauty is the most amazing lipstick I ever had and it's much better than any of my Chanel and YSL lipstick. All that hype for Lisa 's velvet lipstick is not for nothing.

Saturated and highly pigmented, with a beautiful true velvet effect on the surface of the bullet that looks exactly like velvet fabric. Extremely creamy, it glides so perfect, so smooth and effortless on to the lips. A hydrating matte with a slight sheen for a bit of dimension, so not a flat and lifeless matte. Comfortable, luxurious, long wearing and non drying to the lips. 

 

So stunning and amazing are all these lip products from Lisa Eldridge, hopefully you can get your own lipstick and experience these lovely products yourself.

  

True Velvet Lipstick in Blush- another amazing lip color, not part of a lip kit but rather a stand alone item.  "Blush"is a deep pink berry inspired  by the flushed hues of Rococo style of art, think of Fragonard and Francois Boucher. A sensual boudoir shade with muted cool undertones,very idyllic and simply breath taking beautiful. Very feminine and romantic.

Velvet Blush looks gorgeous as a lip stain or as a full pout, also perfect to use on cheeks as a flush of colour and give life to your complexion.

Velvet Ribbon, Velvet Dragon and Velvet Muse are also on my wish list and hopefully I will get them soon!
