The Ordinary Skincare Products I Used Up Until The Last Drop - Review

I haven't been able to write any #beautyempties posts this year, but I still wanted to share some products I have been using up until the last drop and loving/liking them a lot.

I had in mind for a while to make a post about Deciem and some of my favorite products from The Ordinary skin care line and I have to say that I am really happy I finally managed to talk a bit about these products because they do deserve a lot of attention and interest.

The Ordinary 100 % Organic Cold Pressed Maroccan Argan Oil - this was my very first bottle and I already ordered more because for me this is absolutely the best Argan Oil I have ever used. I use it mostly on my hair but also for my skin. I really hope that Deciem will introduce a bigger bottle for this oil because for someone with dry skin/hair 30 ml is really not enough and I use like a bottle of this per month, no exaggeration!!!! I mix it with my shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, I use some to make my salt body scrub, I style my hair with it and also use it as a pre-washing mask. Absolutely amazing and definitely my most favorite The Oridnary product!

The Ordinary AHA 30% (Glycolic/Lactic/Tartaric/Citric)+ BHA 2% (Salicylic Acid) Peeling Solution is probably one of the most popular  products from Deciem,  I see it so often on Instagram. This was my first Deciem product and in the beginning I was really scared to use it because of the high percentage of AHA. Before of this I was using 10 % AHA solution from another brand and that caused me irritation and sensitivity and so I decided to try something else.
I was really happy and also surprised to see that my skin likes this peeling solution much better than others and there was absolutely no irritation or sensitivity.
I dont use this peeling solution during summer at all, and I never use it more than 2 times a week and only PM.
This peeling solution is vegan  and also cruelty free and in my opinion it has an amazing price. It  offers a really good and deep exfoliation and improves the appearance of skin texture, it helps clear pore congestion and to fight blemishes. This formula has a crosspolymer form of hyaluronic acid for comfort, Vitamin B5 to assist healing, black carrot as an antioxidant  and a soothing Tasmanian Pepperberry to make it tolerable by most skin types including sensitive skin.

 The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5 % + HA 2%
Lactic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin. This 5% formulation offers very mild exfoliation and is supported with a purified Tasmanian pepperberry known to reduce signs of inflammation and sensitivity that is often associated with exfoliation. There is also a stronger version with 10 % lactic acid and i tried that too.  For me the best was this one with only 5 %, loved the texture more and I could see a change in my skin, more smooth, better texture, less redness and  hyper-pigmentation  and maybe a bit of a tan ?

I also like the fact that you can
diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance. I know that this product has been reformulated because some people complained about the way it was smelling. I never had an issue with the smell, I dont think it was that bad. I actually liked the "smelly" formula much more because I think it was a bit more effective.

The Ordinary High Spreadability Fluid Primer
is a new generation of primer silicons with a light weight serum like formula that helps to avoid the unnatural and uneven accumulation of makeup and pigments especially around the eye and on dry skin. Non oily , vegan, cruelty free and really good for everyone with dry skin as it acts as a surface hydrator and gives a beautiful dewy finish.

The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10 %
Found in grains, Azelaic Acid is produced naturally by yeast that lives on normal skin. It brightens the skin tone while visibly improving the evenness of skin texture and reducing the look of blemishes. It is a multi-functional support ingredient for all skin types and also acts as an effective antioxidant.
It might be a difficult product to use because it tends to peal off if is not used proper or if you use too much of it. Azelaic acid suspension is a layering product and it works better when used in very small amounts and without any rubbing or massage actions, just pat/dab it on.

I prefer to use it as a spot treatment because of its amazing antioxidant and anti- inflammatory properties, for me personally doesn't do much regarding the brightness of my skin tone, did not really work on my hyperpigmantation but I continue to use it for occasional and hormonal breakouts as it really helps to keep everything under control.
A tube has 30 ml and I use 2 of those tubes a year, I also have to mention that some of the tubes have less product than other tubes, for example my very first tube of Azelaic acid was not even half full but lately I have seen that there is more product inside so I think Deciem fixed that problem.

I honestly dont know how many products from The Ordinary I have, honestly I think too many but they are great products and so affordable!
Since I discovered Decim I have ditched so many of the high end, super expensive brands that were not even that effective or cruelty free.

Have you tried any of The Ordinary skin care products ?
Do you have a favorite from them or a product that really changed the way your skin looks and feel ?

****** This is not a sponsored post and I paid for every single product that it was mentioned above.
