Disciple Skincare Discovery Kit

Have you heard of DISCIPLE skincare yet?

DISCIPLE is a London based natural wellness company for stressed-out body and mind, created by psychotherapist Charlotte Ferguson.

Anxiety, stress, and a chaotic lifestyle can cause inflammatory skin issues like adult acne, eczema, psoriazis, rosacea and premature aging. These skin conditions seem to get all worse and flare when we feel stressed. You feel stressed you break out or eczema flares (in my case). You stress about it and it all get worse and this cycle of skin conditions and stress can be very nasty and difficult to break.

Like so many other people I also deal with anxiety and stressful situations that do a number on my skin now and then. Lately I have been looking into natural ways to distress and heal my body and mind and on my research for adaptogens I found out about Disciple and decided to try it and see how it works and what delivers. I believe in a holistic approach when it comes to my overall health but also when it comes to treat my skin conditions, specially my eczema.

I decided to buy the Discovery Disciple Kit, a day and a night oil duo for stressed out skin  and it was a really good decision.

For day-time care, Good Skin Day Oil, formulated for acne prone skin, with 100% active botanical oils, rich in fatty acids, hormone -balancing essential oils and nasty bad bacteria fighting prebiotics to clear and nourish confused complexions. I didn't really like how it smelled (probably because of the turmeric oil) but it had an amazing light and fast absorbing formula and it did has been really good for my skin.

Ingredients: Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed Oil), Curcuma longa (Turmeric oil)*, Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Oil (Rosemary), Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil (Geranium)*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender oil)*, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree oil), Withania Somnifera (Ashwagandha Oil)*, Burdock Root Extract**, Olive Oil - Organic Extra Virgin <0.5%

For night-time care Dreamy Skin Night Oil is a powerhouse oil-serum treatment, rich in rosehip seed oil and retinyl.Helping to regenerate skin cells while you sleep, this formula reduce pigmentation, pore size and fine lines. It really does everything that it promise!

Dreamy Skin Night Oil has been absolutely amazing for me, it gets absorbed very fast and you only need 3 small drops to boost your glow and make your skin more firm. Perfect oil serum to maintain a glowy skin during cold winter moths, to repair and regenerate your skin while you sleep, to reduce inflammation and  gently help your skin to heal from hormonal breakouts.

Ingredients: Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed Oil), Rosa Mosqueta Seed Oil (Rosehip Seed Oil), Blue Chamomile Essential Oil*, Boswelisa Sacra (Frankincense Oil)*, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine Oil), Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil (Jojoba), Burdock Root Extract**, Withania Somnifera (Ashwagandha Oil)*, Vitamin A Palmitate (Retinyl Palmitate), Olive Oil- Organic Extra Virgin <0.5%

Both oils are promoting smooth skin texture, they don't dry out skin and they don't make the skin feel oily and suffocated. Both oils have beautiful light texture and they can be mixed with your favorite hydrating face cream or serum to intensify hydration and prevent  unwanted breakouts.

Because I woke up every morning to better skin I am really excited to try more of their products and I will definitely  purchase Dreamy Skin Night Oil again.

Botanical skincare with adaptogens is really trending at the moment and I am a huge fan of it, because it really saved and changed my skin.

    1. This one is an introductory set of 2 products. They really are nice, glad you like the review. This is a small niche cosmetic brand,UK based and this is why you probably haven't heard of them.

  2. you said UK based, can you get these products in the States? There are so many cool companies from Europe that I would like to try, but not all offer affordable shipping to the US. I will have to do some research, I guess. Blessings!

I do notice some skin changes when I get stressed. Fine lines become more noticeable, and my facial skin looks dull. I wish I could try this brand, Disciple. Wondering if they would ship out of UK, and how much would they charge for shipping. I will have to find out about that.
