Face and Lips trends for Spring/Summer 2015

 Hello there beauty and make-up addicts!
 I just spent my day looking at several fashion spring runway trends for makeup and beauty inspiration and I found so many surprises and so much creativity and inspiration.
The spring /summer 2015 makeup trends prove to be more diverse than ever and interesting enough to meet any beauty demands.
Usually I write one big makeup trends report article, but this year I decided to split the makeup trend report in two articles, one with amazing eyes trends and one about face/skin and lips trends. 

S/S Face/Skin Beauty Trends 
Naturalness is timeless both in fashion and make-up. Nothing can compete with “nude” looks, which means natural tones, bright shining faces with a healthy glow, wide-open eyes devoid of heavy layers of mascara and eyeshadow.

The most surprising beauty trend for the spring /summer season of 2015 is "just skin" or no makeup makeup, with nothing at all, not even mascara or foundation , just bare "au naturel" skin .
The no makeup makeup trend requires an intense and keen skin care first of all, so you can show off with your perfect healthy complexion. Great make-up starts with great skincare. Before applying your base makeup, prepare your skin with cleanser and give yourself a quick face massage with a vitamin-rich moisturizer.

Translucent skin, nude faces, organic and fresh but sculpted skin were spotted  many times on the catwalk at fashion shows.

At Alberta Ferretti and Gucci models were wearing nude foundation shades, quite identical with their skin, fresh and minimalistic makeup under a classical interpretation.
At Donna Karan models had a warm subtle bronzed skin tone that makes you dream about summer and relaxing holidays.

With barely there makeup and translucent skin, accent can fall on the brows, to complete and frame the face. This beauty trend of barely there makeup was seen at Victoria Beckham spring fashion show, Alexander Wang, Calvin Klein, Rodarte and Proenza Schouler- with completely no makeup.
Sometimes natural is the best,and this spring/summer season, the emphasis on natural beauty is the key. You can look gorgeous by just highlighting one of your best features or just add an overall natural glow.

2015 beauty trends bring the timeless and passionate red lips in the center of attention, again, for like more than 4 seasons continuously. I don't know about you, but I am a red lip lover. There's just something about red lips that screams sophistication and sexiness.

What kind of red do we wear ? 
Glossy red lips, matte red lips, blurred stain red lips with a reminiscent of the 70's style, diffused red lips.

One unfortunate consequence of wearing red lipstick (especially matte lipstick) is that dry, peeling, and flaky lips are exaggerated. Use a sugar scrub to remove any dead skin from your lips, and follow up with a lip balm. Your lips will look significantly improved in red lipstick if they are smoothed and softened first. To make your lips really pop, use a light concealer or highlighter and a small brush to apply around the outside of your lips. Gently blend the outer edge of the line for a more natural look.

If red is not your thing, there are other options for a sophisticated and sexy lip. You can go for a wine stained lip or a rich berry -cherry lips defused around the edges.

In order to target any taste and preference we have a lot of other trendy and cool lipstick shades to choose from. Bright ,flirty orange, electric fuchsia and candy pink are perfect shades for a summer dream escapade that can make your lips look so sweet and kissable.
