Sukin Super Greens Skincare - food for your skin, vegan and cruelty free

Sukin Super Greens line is derived from botanicals and antioxidants which hydrate and leave the skin radiant and glowing. This Super Greens line is a blend of Kale, Spirulina, Parsley and Chlorella combined with nourishing Acai, Goji to leave a clean, brightened and revitalized complexion.

My first product from the Super Green line was the detoxifying clay mask and after, I just had to buy and try more products from this line, serum and Chia seed oil -all so good !

Sukin Detoxifying Clay Mask is a white clay based masque with Kale, Goji berry and Bentonite and is enriched with vitamins and antioxidants to detox, brighten the complexion and minimize the appearance of fine lines. This mask also has Avocado, Baobab and Rosehip Oil to promote an even skin tone through intensive hydration properties. Skin is replenished, contributing towards maintaining youthful, glowing skin. Suitable for normal skin, especially dull.
I had to hunt a lot for this product because it was always out of stock, I finally got it and is one of my favorite clay masks. It's really detoxifying but without being too harsh on skin and without striping it of its natural oils. Compared to other masks you need layer this one on damp skin and not on dry skin, it works even better if you are using an essence before. I get amazing results when I combine this mask with an essence from The Body Shop: my skin is left so soft and feels clean and pure without being dry and annoyed. It works really good to prevent unwanted blemishes and hormonal spots because of the antioxidants and vitamins.
I am not a fan of the smell, I saw that on the ingredient list is mentioned perfume as natural fragrance from plants but it smells like medicine and not like plants at all, but good and effective skincare is not supposed to smell like flowers all the time is supposed to work nice and make your skin happy and healthy.

The application is really easy, it takes about 15 minutes and you can remove it with warm water and a wash cloth very easy without too much rubbing. I never experienced any sensitivity or irritation with any Sukin products but is good to make a patch allergy test before because sometimes you can react to botanical and natural ingredients just as much as you can react to something else that is not natural. Skin is unique, even if we might have the same skin type no one skin type is exactly the same.

Sukin Super Greens Facial Recovery Serum is a super nourishing milky serum with a feather light  non sticky and  non oily texture; absolutely lovely  product and also very affordable. I think I paid 18 euro for this serum, it has 30 ml and it comes in a super pretty glass bottle with a pomp.I already finished this serum and decided to recycle the bottle, u can clean it very easy and  reuse it, because its perfect for traveling.

This serum is really hydrating and nourishing without being too rich and heavy for your skin. It has extract of Kale, Spirulina and Parsley as super greens and Acai and Goji berry extract as antioxidants and also Grape Seed oil to help promote a youthful looking skin and light but effective hydration. It can be used AM and PM before your favorite moisturizer. I think this serum is absolutely brilliant and works really good if your skin is dull, tired and lacks that healthy glow. Soothing, calming, moisturizing, nourishing, super lovely ingredients to feed your skin and  keep it happy !

Sukin Super Green Chia Seed Oil + is not just a Chia seed oil is more than that, it's actually a blend of several amazing oils: Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil (Hempseed), Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Olive Fruit Oil, Baobab Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E) with Chia Seed oil as main ingredient.

This facial oil blend harnesses the beneficial properties of Chia Seed Oil, a superfood known to be rich in Omega but also an amazing antioxidant and nutrient rich oil. Just like the other products from this super greens  line this Chia seed oil + is also infused with Kale, Spirulina and Parsley which assist to brighten the complexion and improve the skin’s texture.

I haven't really seen a change in my skin texture from this oil but it really rich and comforting for dry and dull skin. I was reading that you can even use it twice a day if your skin is super dry and lifeless. I usually incorporate it in my PM  skin care routine when I  need a bit of extra care and protection against cold harsh weather. I find it a bit on the heavy side probably because of the hemp oil but is it really helps if you suffer from eczema or dermatitis and psoriasis. I think it can help balance skin, both dry and oily because if a skin is too dry it will try to produce more oil and that might cause a breakout. Also because of the hemp oil as a second ingredient, this Chia seed oil blend has a nutty flavor.

Because is rich in omegas this oil will help soothe and reduce inflammation encouraging skin growth and new cell regeneration. In addition to moisturizing and nourishing this Chia seed + oil has also anti aging properties, it can help reduce fine lines and wrinkles and prevent them.
I also used it on my hair and you can also use it on your body, the bottle is not very big but the oil is so rich  that you don't need more than a drop for your face and few more drops for the rest of your body.

For a more luxurious and spa feeling you can add some Jasmine absolute and Ylang Ylang essential oil to this blend and use it on your face and body, it will smell divine, calm your senses and promote sleep.

  3. My skin feels soothed even reading this piece, just knowing the product range you've picked is vegan and cruelty free makes me relax too. I don't think I've ever had kale as an ingredient in any skincare products either, so that's a new idea for me!

  5. It's so nice to have a review on skin products before using them. I'm always paranoid I'm going to use something that will make me break out or make something go wrong with my otherwise tolerable face. I might have to give this brand a try!
