5 Favorite Face Masks

Face masks are one of my favorite skin care products and they are the perfect treatments to help you with your skin problems and concerns. The right face masks can help remove excess of oils, improve and detoxify your pores, hydrate the skin. They are also an excellent way of removing skin impurities, relaxing, give  healthy glow to the skin and a wonderful feeling of being pampered.
Everyone should introduce facial masks to their skin care routine, both men and women can benefit and improve their skin condition from using a facial mask.

By using facial masks on a regular base, you can ensure that your other skin care products (lotions, serums, nighttime creams ) will be absorbed by your skin quicker and deeper and your skin will be more toned, more hydrated and protected.
Just one type of mask is not enough, because skin is never the same and it would be great if you have more than a basic clay mask.

I’ve put together this convenient list of 5 face masks and some tips that will help you soak in all the benefits a face mask can offer.

Here are 5 of my favorite facial masks.

1.Sephora Pomegranate Sheet Mask
I love sheet masks because they are similar to a serum. The sheet mask is infused with active ingredients- with natural pomegranate fruit extract but also Aloe Vera leaf juice, Rice extract, Mushroom extract, citric acid and Broccoli. These masks are dermatological tested and quick and easy to use, no rinse after. Sephora Pomegranate mask provides fresh, radiant skin and has anti-aging benefits.

2.balance me Radiance Face Mask - all skin types. This is a 5 minute face mask that clarifies and brightens dull skin in an instant! Skin-brightening fruit acid complex gives a gentle enzyme exfoliation whilst Ground Walnut Spheres gently buff away dead skin cells. This is such a great product with clean ingredients, it leaves behind such a soft silky skin.

3.ASLAVITAL  mineral active white clay powder, 100% natural clay. This clay powder is made in Romania and it is very special as it comes from special rocks in the mountains. The powder can be mixed with water or fruit/veggie juice, milk, honey, essential oils, egg yolk, olive oil and so many other natural products. This is a versatile product as you can create you very own personal mask using this white clay as a base. It absorbs toxins, cleans pores, stimulates the blood flow in your skin, brightens and helps with healing the stubborn acne. For this mask you need 20 minutes and is better to not let it
completely dry before wiping it off.

If you wait for the mask to get dry and flaky, the mask can actually start to draw moisture from your skin which can cause irritation. This is the general rule for clay masks.

4.Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Multi -Action Foam Cleanser / Purifying Mask. This is a really nice cleanser that can be used as a 3 minutes purifying mask.It unclogs pores without drying and cracking up on your skin. It has such a creamy and a foamy texture! It smells really nice because it combines natural skin-loving botanicals and minerals, the scent is quite floral. I am really crazy about this product, both as a cleanser and as a facial mask. Leaves skin healthy, fresh and luminous.

5.ORIGINS Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores.
Active charcoal acts like a magnet to draw out deep dwelling pore- clogs.
White China clay absorbs environmental toxins, and lecithin dissolves impurities. Without all that stuff down there, skin breathes a sigh of relief. Best for all skin types. It has great and clean ingredients, no Parabens, no Sulfates and no Phthalates.
I  think this is a great alternative to the more expensive mud GlamGlow mask. I find it refreshing, comfortable to wear because of the gel -like texture. I love this mask for my T-zone and as a spot treatment for blemishes. For great results exfoliate before and use warm water to open your pores. It is kind of a pain to rinse or wash this mask off but because of all the skin benefits it is totally worth it! Miracle worker for skin with big pores, oily and blemish skin.

How often do you treat yourself to a face mask ?
