Pixi Beauty Summer Makeup Look & Products

Last week I received from Pixi Beauty some new makeup products, perfect to help me get that effortless summer beautiful glow and radiance on. 

They have the most amazing, pretty, affordable and multi-functional makeup products. I absolutely love them. Their eye shadows are always really creamy and pigmented and their lip products (mate lipstick and lips glosses) come in lots of  vibrant colors from nudes to pinks to striking sensual red shades. For summer I adore their new Liplift Max Glosses, so much shine and never that sticky feeling.

Summer Glow Palette in Sheer Sunshine, a very beautiful multi-functional palette of silky natural mineral powders from matte to glowing. The perfect natural tones to bring out your sun kissed glow all year around. 

Paraben free, not tested on animals, rich in skin conditioning emollients to smooth and hydrate and vitamin E to protect and nourish. 

The bronze shades can be used on cheeks, bridge of the nose, forehead, chin and anywhere you would normally tan. 

The sparkly shades can be used to highlight your cheekbones, browbone, corner of your eyes and anywhere you want to add a sheer glow.

Metallic Cooper Eyes And Red Lips

Metallic cooper eye shadow and red lipstick, a beautiful combination that looks best on someone with blue eyes and blond hair but I had to try it too! If red is too much for you, this look can be done with a nude lip as well.

Pixi Eyes Reflexion Shadow Palette in Reflex Light was perfect to create this look. All shadows in this palette are incredible rich and pigmented, easy to use, wear and blend. I was reading that they have a special 3D effect to add depth and create dimension, catching and reflecting the light in a beautiful way. I think is really true, I noticed when I took pictures of the entire palette how beautiful the light falls on it.

Pixi's SS19 Biggest Launch In Amsterdam - 80 New Beauty Products

Last week Pixi Beauty had a massive beauty launch at a temporary Pop -Up Store in Amsterdam, event hosted by Babassu Beauty

 
The temporary Pixi Pop-Up Store was located on De 9 Straatjes in Amsterdam and it looked all chic, feminine and very pretty, displaying a beautiful esthetic and the latest and most new Pixi beauty products.

The atmosphere was very inviting and the Babassu  personal was very friendly and helpful. You could look around, take photos, admire the place, spray your boyfriend in the eye with the Pixi Vitamin C Mist- like I did, cover yourself in oils, glitters, lotions and creams, get your makeup done and also eat cute Pixi cupcakes.

Pixi Beauty Rose Infused Skincare

Did you know that it takes around 30.000 rose petals to produce a single ounce of rose essential oil ?

Recently there has been a Rose Renaissance in skincare and I personally love it because rose infused skincare is able to transform the skin, to promote healing and to reduce the effects of chronic stress on skin (fact based on a study conducted in Japan in 2011). When used in skincare, Rose is said to be soothing and calming, protecting and it can help you to get rid of dull tired skin giving a healthy glow.

Pixi  has some of the most beautiful and lush Rose infused skincare and they gifted me this gorgeous travel set full of skintreats to add it to my beauty arsenal.

Festival Makeup Look With Glitter And Pearls

 So guys this was my first attempt to do a festival makeup look and it was more fun than I imagined. I was really thinking that I might be too old to wear certain amounts of glitter on my face but actually it made me feel really pretty and magical. In other words: when in doubt add glitter !

I went for a relatively simple fairy look, very easy to do and I will list below all the products used, in case you  feel inspired and want to recreate this makeup look.

 I started with a light preparation of my skin and because I went nowhere I skipped SPF but if you go to a festival or to a pool party dont forget to stay protected because skin cancer is a real thing and on top of that is also really nasty!

Pixi Liquid Fairy Lights - review, photos and color swatches

Right in time for the festival season Pixi by Petra released this beautiful glow makeup collection that has 5 stunning and super sparkly liquid eyeshadows and 2 splendid glow powders.

The Liquid Fairy Lights eyeshadows  are indeed ultra sparkly and full of 3D shimmering glitter. I was like wow, this is magical ! As you can see they look very similar to a lip gloss, in the beginning when just got them I really thought they are lip glosses, silly me!

I can never have enough Pixi skincare, I just love their products a lot and its always such a pleasure to use them.
They sent me a box with several skin treats and I was surprised to see that all of them are perfect for my skin type -mostly dry and sensitive! I dont know if this is just a coincidence or if they actually took in consideration my age and my skin type and skin issues.

Pixi Glow Mist Propolis and Argan Oil is one of the most popular Pixi products I have seen on social media and until today I had no idea I can use this mist on my hair too. I was already familiar with this product, this is one of my favorite face mists to spray on after I do my makeup and also before I go to bed. I just love how it smells, is not floral is quite herbal but very calming.
This Pixi Glow Mist is enriched with 13 natural oils plus propolis, aloe vera and fruit extracts. This is definitely the most hydrating and nourishing mist I ever head. From all the Pixi products that I ever had this one is definitely my absolute favorite; the Rose Caviar Essence comes on 2 and the Jasmine Oil Blend on 3rd place in my Pixi skincare top.

Few days ago I got this really beautiful PR package from Pixi Beauty and everything inside is OMG SO PRETTY !!!!

The Rose Essential Collection from PIXI Beauty -Skin and Lip Treats

As some of you already saw on my Instagram, last week I have received from PIXI a super beautiful pink box that opens like a book and it even has this cute shiny lock on, that can be open only with the little key attached to it. This is one of the most adorable gift boxes I ever received since I review beauty products.
