Just with my previous post about Favorite Skincare in 2018, it was really difficult to make a choice and narrow down my favorite makeup products to just a few.
In 2018, makeup, for me was more about lips and glow and less about eyeshadow and this is the reason why you will get to see more luminous blushes and bronzers than eyeshadows and of course a more lipstick. I have been a lipstick lover in 2018 !

The Body Shop Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalizing Cleansing Oil- in- Gel - super gentle and perfect for dry skin, vegan and cruelty free formula.
Korres Olympus Tea 3-in-1 Cleansing Emultion - I love the fluid and gentle formula, it smells absolutely delicious like all the Korres products, also vegan.
Red Earth Radiance Boosting Toner with Australian Honey and Organic Pomegranate, this is more like an essence as texture, smells very natural and fresh, offers amazing relief for dry and sensitive skin.
Sukin Super Greens line is derived from botanicals and
antioxidants which hydrate and leave the skin radiant and glowing. This Super Greens line is a blend of Kale, Spirulina, Parsley and Chlorella combined with nourishing Acai, Goji to leave a clean,
brightened and revitalized complexion.
My first product from the Super Green line was the detoxifying clay mask and after, I just had to buy and try more products from this line, serum and Chia seed oil -all so good !
Sukin Detoxifying Clay Mask is a white clay based masque with Kale, Goji berry and Bentonite and is enriched with
vitamins and antioxidants to detox, brighten the complexion and minimize
the appearance of fine lines. This mask also has Avocado,
Baobab and Rosehip Oil to promote an even skin tone through intensive
hydration properties. Skin is replenished, contributing towards
maintaining youthful, glowing skin. Suitable for normal skin, especially dull.
I had to hunt a lot for this product because it was always out of stock, I finally got it and is one of my favorite clay masks. It's really detoxifying but without being too harsh on skin and without striping it of its natural oils. Compared to other masks you need layer this one on damp skin and not on dry skin, it works even better if you are using an essence before. I get amazing results when I combine this mask with an essence from The Body Shop: my skin is left so soft and feels clean and pure without being dry and annoyed. It works really good to prevent unwanted blemishes and hormonal spots because of the antioxidants and vitamins.
I haven't been able to write any #beautyempties posts this year, but I still wanted to share some products I have been using up until the last drop and loving/liking them a lot.
I had in mind for a while to make a post about Deciem and some of my favorite products from The Ordinary skin care line and I have to say that I am really happy I finally managed to talk a bit about these products because they do deserve a lot of attention and interest.
The Ordinary 100 % Organic Cold Pressed Maroccan Argan Oil - this was my very first bottle and I already ordered more because for me this is absolutely the best Argan Oil I have ever used. I use it mostly on my hair but also for my skin. I really hope that Deciem will introduce a bigger bottle for this oil because for someone with dry skin/hair 30 ml is really not enough and I use like a bottle of this per month, no exaggeration!!!! I mix it with my shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, I use some to make my salt body scrub, I style my hair with it and also use it as a pre-washing mask. Absolutely amazing and definitely my most favorite The Oridnary product!

I just got some new goodies from The Body Shop, they been kind enough to support me and send me some of their new makeup products. Recently I have rediscovered how amazing is The Body Shop skincare and how much is this company involved in preserving our wild life and running all kinds of petitions and campaigns to ban forever the cruel testing on animals in cosmetic industry.
This past week I have been testing their new Matte Clay Powders and I think I am ready to share my opinion about how these powders perform, look and feel on skin.

I wasn't sure if I want to blog about my little makeup project pan but I saw that a lot of people love to join this kind of beauty projects on Instagram, so I changed my mind and I decided to share my thoughts about some products here as well.

CATRICE Sun Glow Matt Bronzing Powder. I am really loving this bronzer! It has a beautiful soft texture and blends like a dream, I would definitely buy this again if they still make it.
So guys this was my first attempt to do a festival makeup look and it was more fun than I imagined. I was really thinking that I might be too old to wear certain amounts of glitter on my face but actually it made me feel really pretty and magical. In other words: when in doubt add glitter !
I went for a relatively simple fairy look, very easy to do and I will list below all the products used, in case you feel inspired and want to recreate this makeup look.
I started with a light preparation of my skin and because I went nowhere I skipped SPF but if you go to a festival or to a pool party dont forget to stay protected because skin cancer is a real thing and on top of that is also really nasty!
